IDUL ADHA

Idul Adha usually celebrate in 9 Dzulhijah of Hijriah year. Idul Adha is celebrated to remind about the great event that happened long time ago. It tells to us about Nabi Ibrahim AS who sacrifice his own beloved child (Nabi Ibrahim) as a order from Allah SWT to slay Ismail become sacrifice.
The night before Idul Adha day, the people in my hometown usually reverberated Takbiran to warn that tomorrow will be Idul Adha day. People usually do it for seven nights.
Especially in my nuclear family. We did pray in the Mosque. After that, my nuclear family gathered at my house because the Qurban Ceremony was held at my house. Then, my mother, my aunt sister and female family member prepare the ingredients to cook the meats of the Sapi Qurban. After foods ready to served, we ate together and the last we were pray together.
